Nutritional Benefits
The Beef Ear with Hair is a highly digestible, low-fat chew.
Natural Biome
The beef ears come from cows that spend their entire life pastured. Although each ear is washed before dehydration, seeing elements of grass, dirt, and other natural debris is common. Products with hair also retain some of their natural animal scent (which dogs love), so you can expect a cow ear to smell somewhat like a cow.
Can dogs eat hair?
Yes! Hair is beneficial to the digestivetract. It delivers good levels of fiber and manganese, and acts like a pipe cleaner; sweeping out waste.
The hair left on the chew gives your dog more smells to work, and feeds their canine drive by allowing them to "de-fluff" and pick at the chew before gnawing it down.
Chewing Benefits
Teeth
If you want to save your dog from dental disease, bad breath, and teeth cleanings, give them a natural chew for 15-20 minutes per day.
Similar to humans, canine dental issues can impact the overall health of your pet. Not only is gnawing and chewing a great mental and physical exercise, but it cleans teeth and strengthens gums. Daily chewing for dogs is just like brushing teeth for humans.
Chewing
Limit chewing to 15-20 minute sessions. Most dogs feel fully satisfied (endorphins will release in the brain) after short sessions of back-of-the-jaw gnawing.
After each chewing session, store the chew out of sight and give it again the next day.
Sourcing & Availability
Sourcing
Products are made and sourced in the USA.
Everything we make is connected to American family farms. When you purchase from us, the label will change to show you which farm made your product, and will rotate based on availability.

Availability
We choose to source from working farms, which means animals may not mature on our timetable. At times, this means we do not have access to the products we want or need. However, we continue to identify small, true working farms to partner with to minimize shortages.
